DISCARD from Sweden started in the Mid Eighties as some kind of side project of the legendary band MOB 47. After the band released their classic "Death From Above" EP (in the year 1990, the bands´demo from 1986), Per Lundström (ex-AGONI) remained the last original member of DISCARD and so he recruited Mats Svensson from ASOCIAL and two others swedish Punx to record this solid D-Beat album called "Four Minutes Past Midnight". DISCARD is one of the classic D-Beat bands that played furious, bare bones and In-Your-Face DISCHARGE infused Hardcore, Punk. In the Nineties DISCARD was one of the more important bands in the increasing D-Beat scene, together with acts like DISCLOSE, DISFEAR or DISCHANGE they proudly carried the banner of DISCHARGE-worship.
This great album originally was released in the year 1994 on RIPPING RECORDS from the UK, finally available again on vinyl after being out of print for two decades.
Official re-issue, this here is the Die Hard edition limited to 75 copies on Side A White Haze / Clear Splatter, Side B Grey Haze / Clear Splatter vinyl housed in a nice gatefold sleeve, all songs were remastered by Brad Boatright in the Audiosiege Studios, USA, an embroided patch with the band logo is included too.
