LP | "Vile"
2016 | METAL BLADE RECORDS
After CANNIBAL CORPSE got rid of former vocalist Chris Barnes the band was facing some kind of rebirth, at first George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher was added as new singer and the band started to have a newer sound. A lot of Die Hard fans didn´t like the change of the vocalist, but with Corpsegrinder more dynamism and creativity was added to the band´s music, don´t be mistaken CANNIBAL CORPSE still was / is a very brutal, fast and fucked up Death Metal band with extreme vocals and very, very offensive lyrics and most of the normal listeners might not hear a difference in the old and new sound, but believe me with "Vile" the band has released one of their best and maybe one of the most technical albums ever. You can say whatever you want about the band with Barnes or Corpsegrinder on vocals, as each fan of the band has their own reasons to prefer this or that guttural vocals, but one thing is certain: CANNIBAL CORPSE kicks some serious fuckin´ ass and is mandatory in the collection of anyone who appreciates some brutal and extremely technical high-quality Death Metal.
In the year 1996 album number five of the US Death Metal act CANNIBAL CORPSE saw the light of day, at first it only was released on CD via METAL BLADE RECORDS from The United States.
Great re-issue on 180 gram heavy Black vinyl, this LP comes in original artwork with lyric / photo insert and large poster.
