AGATHOCLES – Peel Sessions 1997 10″

Wow I didn´t know that legendary BBC Radio DJ John Peel, UK did a session with the well-known Grindcore band AGATHOCLES from Belgium. On march 30th, 1997 (and on request of Mr. Peel himself) the band entered the BBC Radio Studios (Studio Maida Vale 4) in London, UK and recorded fifteen of their songs in the best ever sound quality. Tracks like „A Start At Least“, „Lay Off Me“, „Mutilated Regurgitator“, „The Accident“, „Christianity Means Tyranny“, … never had a better sound and on top AGATHOCLES performed them in the fasted and most vicious way. This is the way I want „my“ AGATHOCLES: brutal, high-speed pure Grindcore.

This „Peel Sessions“ firstly were released on CD in the year 2010 on the polish label SELFMADEGOD.

Limited edition of 300 copies on Black vinyl, this 10″ is housed in a nice pocket cover and comes with extra lyric sheet.
