The swedish Hardcore, Punk scene of the Early Eighties was vibrant and wide, with underground movements yielding surprising extremities. This ultra-scarce cassette only release, limited to 300 copies in 1984, was the first of the legendary UPROAR label, pitting the blast-beat Proto-Grindcore of Asocial, from the small town of Hedemora, against the classical thrash of THE BEDRÖVLERS, from the equally small town of Fagersta, whose name roughly translates to MISERABLERZ, a term assigned them by a bus driver that disliked their discordant noise. Subverting BAD RELIGION´s „How Could Hell Be Any Worse“ for their own purposes, ASOCIAL´s tracks (altogether fourteen songs like „Asocial Attack“, Revolution“, „Bränn Din“, …) are blindingly fast and THE BEDRÖVLERS´ down and dirty (they deliver sixteen tracks like „Our Statement“, „Utsatt“, „Drunk Again“, „Sad To Be“, …) – this is rare swedish Hardcore, at its best !

The original cassette version came out in the year 1984 on the swedish label UPROAR RECORDS.

This album is pressed on White vinyl (limited to 100 copies !!!), the vinyl is housed in B/W pocket cover, an double-sided insert is included.
