BAD BRAINS were an american Hardcore, Punk band formed in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. in the year 1977, initially they were formed as a Jazz fusion ensemble called MIND POWER. The band also did / does many Reggae and Dub tracks and featured elements from Funk, Heavy Metal or Hip Hop.

Here we have a compilation album featuring early material on the band:

# tracks 10 – 12 („171A session“ 1981)
# tracks 13 – 22 (ROIR outtakes and rough mixes)
# tracks 23 – 24 (1983 demos)
