CIRITH UNGOL has a fifty years plus legacy and with „Dark Parade“ they present their album number six, not many releases in over five decades you might think, but this band is special as well as their music. Yes they have not invented Heavy Metal, Doom Metal music, but they have been amongst the first bands playing such kind of music and all the time they played their own kind of music without selling out or copying actual popular and goodselling stuff. Yes CIRITH UNGOL (old and new) is some kind of unique, especially the weird vocal style of their frontman Tim Baker and they still know how to play heavy as fuck riffs, memorable guitar solos supported by a solid bass and drums section. CIRITH UNGOL was and will be for ever CIRITH UNGOL, not a copy, not  sell-out clown band and the eight songs on „Dark Parade“ are a perfect proof of that.
