CRUDE from Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan are around since 1995, they are a Hardcore, Punk band influenced by WARHEAD, BASTARD, PAINTBOX, FORWARD and GAUZE. They play melodic layered japanese Hardcore with heart and drive. „Drug Culture“ is their brand new album with six songs of mega-tight Hardcore with virtuosic playing and tons of bizarre twist and turns in the song writing. Like the later GAUZE stuff, the songs jerk back and forth in ways that barely make sense but still just work. Here you´ll get no fancy, car-stereo, diamond-sound material, the album was recorded on a four-track, rough songs of pure rawness and rage combined with blazing melodies, maybe more stripped down compared to most of the former CRUDE recordings (the band wanted it to be this way to show their dirty side), but definitely a very good album.

Standard edition limited to 450 copies on Black vinyl, this release comes with big Din A1 poster and lyric / info insert.
