DDT was probably the earliest HC, Punk band in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Nobody was playing Hardcore down there before DDT showed up on the scene. A year or two later another band showed up (NEON CHRIST) and the two bands played many times together. The band had in its lineup Rik Barr formerly of THE STATE from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Greg Psomas of the legendary New York City Punk band ISM.
This is their self produced, five song 7″ from 1983. You don´t see this one in the wild, but if you did it would cost you a lot of money. From the ultra melodic „Mr. Roger´s Neighborhood“, to quick Hardcore burst like „Girls, Girls, Girls“ and „Brave New World“, to post punkish / no waveish „I´m Walking The Psychopath“ and „The End“ that brings in mind bands like FLIPPER, NO TREND or TUEDOMOON.
The US label FIVE MINUTES PRODUCTION did the original pressing in the year 1983.
The European version of the 2024 re-issue, the EP is pressed on Black vinyl and his housed in a EP pocket cover, a six paged fold-out insert (with lyrics, band history, photos and flyers) is included too.
