DR. KNOW – Killing For God LP

DR. KNOW was founded in the year 1981 in Oxnard, California, USA. Together with other acts like ILL REPUTE, AGRESSION, RKL , FALSE CONFESSION, …, they were amongst the founders of the early Nardcore scene, a Hardcore, Punk movement originated in the suburbs of Oxnard. Over all this years the band has been more or less active, members got exchanged, musical style changed and the band brought out this or that release: but finally in the year 2008 the band recorded fourteen tracks (including covers songs from DAYGLO ABORTIONS, MOTÖRHEAD and FLIPPER) to be released on the album „Killing For God“, which is DR. KNOW´s album number seven. When you listen to this songs it feels like your back in the „Good Old Eighties“, a time where the bands where angry, pissed off to the max and the music was fast.
