G.B.H. – City Baby Attacked By Rats LP (Orange Translucent)

Street Punk pioneers CHARGED G.B.H. formed in Birmingham, UK in 1978, the name referencing original bassist Sean McCarthy´s trial for grievous bodily harm. The In-Your-Face Hardcore of the 12″ EP „Leather, Bristles, Studs And Acne“ (1981) paved the way for the super-charged debut LP „City Baby Attacked By Rats“, which hit the number two position on the British Indie charts on release in 1982, as well as the mainstream top 20, despite being released by tiny independent, CLAY RECORDS. With a touch of MOTÖRHEAD and BLACK SABBATH beneath their straight-up Hardcore, „City Baby …“ is where the legend begins, capturing G.B.H. at their bloodiest.

CLAY RECORDS from the UK did the original pressing of this album in the year 1982.

This version here is pressed on Orange Translucent vinyl, the album is housed in a Coloured gatefold sleeve and a double-sided insert is included.
