GEHENNAH a band from Sweden started in 1992 as Thrash Metal, Black Metal band but within time their style changed into more asocial, drunken and motorcharged Metal Punk, Drunk Metal or whatever it should be called. Their influences are ranging from Old School Black Metal like VENOM, BATHORY, … , to Thrash Metal, Speed Metal like TANKARD and Metal Punk like MIDNIGHT, don´t forget the big Rock´N´Roll impact MOTÖRHEAD had on this band. All this mixed together, add some beers and you will get the sound of GEHENNAH. Check the sticker on their „Too Loud To …“ album which says „Thirstier than TANKARD ! Dirtier than MOTÖRHEAD ! Darker than VENOM !“ and you might have an idea what to expect.
