HELLBASTARD is a pioneering Crust, Punk, Stenchcore band from Newcastle, UK, formed in 1984 / 1985, together with other UK bands like DEVIATED INSTINCT, AMEBIX, ANTISECT, … they were amongst the most important „kickstarters“ of what later became the music genre called „Crust“. Early HELLBASTARD played a great mixture of Anarcho-Punk and raw, simple Thrash Metal and they became very well-known in the Punk as well as in the Metal scene.

This re-issue here offers the original tracks of the album plus several bonus tracks on the additional 12″ (live and rehearsal cover songs recorded in the year 1988).

The first pressing of „Heading For Internal Darkness“ has been released in the year 1988 on MEANTIME RECORDS from the UK.

Official re-issue on Red vinyl, the vinyl is housed in a full-coloured gatefold sleeve showing the original artwork.
