„XXV“ is the fifth album of the Crust, Punk institution HELLSHOCK from Portland, USA. They are well-known for their crushing mix of Crustcore, Stenchcore and Death Metal influenced by bands like BOLT THROWER, DEVIATED INSTINCT, HELLBASTARD, … , the album „XXV“ is a „little“ bit different: you still can hear were the band comes from, some Death Metal here, some Crustcore there but the new material is way more complex and more melodic than before, sometimes it´s very Thrash Metal orientated, sometimes you can here a little bit AMEBIX (the later stuff). Don´t be afraid „XXV“ is still a great and crushing Crust, Punk album but the band added some new influences, ideas and evolved into something „new“ without forgetting their roots.

Here we have the european version, this version here is pressed on Black vinyl, the LP is housed in a Coloured LP pocket cover and comes with fold-out insert.
