What was started as a two-man Grindcore project band in Krefeld, Germany in the year 1998 ended up as a full Grindcore band when more members were added from 2002 to 2006. JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE (aka JAKA) are a very unique band, they play fierce, fast and fucked up Grindcore with tons of influences from Hardcore, Punk and they sing their very strange in the german language, but over all it´s not really easy to put this band into a special label, yes they play Metal, yes the play Grind, yes they play punkish stuff but still they are different. On the „Back To Ze Roots“ the band re-recorded their first material and put them on vinyl for the first time.
 
This album comes on Black vinyl, it is housed in a full-coloured LP pocket cover and a D.I.Y. booklet, lyric sheet.
