When most people think of KREATOR they think of the brash ear assault of „Pleasure To Kill“, the refined aggression of „Extreme Aggression“ or the technical workout of „Coma Of Souls“, some may think of the return to Thrash Metal style they helped to make popular in their homeland Germany with such great albums as „Enemy Of God“ and „Phantom Antichrist“. However one often overlooked album is their dabble with the Industrial genre, heavily influenced by bands such as FEAR FACTORY, NINE INCH NAILS and certain aspects of MARILYN MANSON. The album utilized simplified chugging riffs and tuneless shouting of the frontman Mille Petrozza across twelve adrenaline soaked songs. You don´t know what I talking about ? We are talking about the criminally overlooked KREATOR album called „Cause For Conflict“ which was unleashed upon mankind in the year 1995. „Cause For Conflict“ is misunderstood and hated for the simple reason that it is not what the band were known for, but believe me it´s a great release that everyone should have a listen to. This album contains significantly more Thrash influence than on the previous album „Renewal“, but it is definitely still an experimental output that tops much of their release catalogue.
The original pressing of „Cause For Conflict“ was done as 12″ LP in the year 1995 by GUN RECORDS, Germany.
Over the top official re-release on Blue vinyl, housed in a thick gatefold cover and with printed innersleeves (sleevenotes from Mille Petrozza are added too). This double LP includes the original (but remastered) songs plus three bonus tracks.
