NATIONS ON FIRE a Hardcore, Punk band from Hamme, Belgium, was active in the Early, Mid Nineties and after the band splitted up the singer Edward started the well-known Hardcore, Straight Edge label GOODLIFE RECORDINGS. NATIONS ON FIRE had a sound of their own, they managed to capture the best elements of current US Hardcore along with the aggression, energy and political awareness of european bands of the Eighties. All this was combined with deeply passionate lyrics and liner notes, these became manifestos of the political scene and Straight Edge Hardcore during this period. Without doubt NATIONS ON FIRE is one of the most important european Hardcore acts from the Nineties and nearly is a must for fans of (later) SCRAPS, RISE ABOVE, SEEIN´ RED, MANLIFTINGBANNER, PROFOUND, … .
