NAUSEA – Cybergod / Lie Cycle LP (Clear / Black Smoke)

NAUSEA were a Hardcore, Punk band from New York, NY (USA) formed in 1985 and disbanding in 1992. They were one of the few bands in the New York City Hardcore, Punk scene at the time playing Crust, Punk while most of the other bands made the trademark NYHC sound popular. Although they just had one LP, a few 7″ singles and compilation tracks they were / are really popular among the worldwide Crust scene and even managed to tour Europe in 1991.

Finally the two legendary NAUSEA EP´s are re-released on 12” format for the first time ever, including the „Cybergod“ 7” from 1991 – with a bonus track, „Here Today,“ from the same recording sessions – and the Lie Cycle 7” from 1992. All tracks are remastered from the original, untouched studio tapes by Jack Control DARKTHRONE, FEAR, KOTHI TUHOA, …). Here we have tribal and rocking apocalyptic Crust for apocalyptic times.

„Cybergod“ in it´s orginal version was released in the year 1991 by the US label ALLIED RECORDS, „the „Lie Cycle“ 7″ was released in 1992 by GRAVEN IMAGE from the USA.

This here is the SVART RECORDS exclusive version limited to 200 copies on Clear / Black Smoke Marbled vinyl, the vinyl is housed in B/W LP pocket cover and comes with two inserts (?).
