OMEN is a Power Metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA founded in the year 1983, when guitarist Kenny Powell left his former band SAVAGE GRACE and was looking for new band members to create a new band. OMEN plays faster (for that time faster of course) and melodic Early, Mid Eighties Speed Metal, Heavy Metal, nowadays it´s called True Metal, simple but straight forward guitar work supported by great drumming, really powerful bass playing and melodic but still snotty vocals, this is the trademark of the band OMEN, without doubt OMEN is one of the best Power Metal exports from the U.S.A. and plays in the same league like VICIOUS RUMORS, HELSTAR, CRIMSON GLORY, early ICED EARTH, … .

„Battle Cry“ is the debut album of the band and originally was released on METAL BLADE RECORDS, USA in the year 1984.
