PERDITION – Not Just Another Anthology 2 x LP (Transparent Yellow)

PERDITION formed sometime in 1983 in Adelaide, South Australia and together with the likes of DEPRESSION, CIVIL DISSIDENT and VICIOUS CIRCLE they were at the forefront of the Eighties australian Punk, Hardcore scene. In their beginnings the sound of the band could be described as catchy and snotty Brit ´82 Punk, not unlike THE EXPLOITED, BROKEN BONES, G.B.H., … , and they gained a lot of attention in the australian Hardcore, Punk scene, which lead to a spot on the DEAD KENNEDYS show in september 1983 in Adelaide. Saddly PERDITION headed to a much more „poppier“ direction towards their end and they lost a lot of their fans, but still PERDITION is one of the best and maybe most underrated Punk, Hardcore bands from Down Under.
