This here is the ultimate battle royal for canadian Punk victory – West Coast vs. East Coast:
PHANE are a charged Hardcore, Punk band from Vancouver, B.C., Canada, they play fast Punk in the vein of G.B.H., DISCHARGE, BROKEN BONES or THE VARUKERS. On this split album they offer six up-tempo tracks without any compromise, pure fast Punk, nothing more, nothing less.
FRACTURED are from the other side of Canada, they are located in Montréal, Quebec to be exact, they are active since the year 2019. FRACTURED play fast and furious Punk, a nice mixture of Punk Rock, Heavy Metal and Rock´N´Roll: MOTÖRHEAD meets BROKEN BONES with a hint of early, more „punky“ HOLY MOSES (might be strange for some Punks, but yes the singer Janick, well-known from HELLBOUND and AFTER THE BOMBS, P.C.P., … , sounds like a softer version of the HOLY MOSES singer Sabina Classen, for those who don´t know this band: HOLY MOSES were amongst the first Thrash Metal, Speed Metal bands in Germany). PHANE contributes six faster Punk songs as well.
Standard edition on Black vinyl (400 copies), the vinyl is housed in a B / W LP pocket cover and comes with extra insert.
