RUINS from Bielefeld, Germany, with SHOYU SQUAD and KPX people, are playing punky D-Beat Crustcore with melodic guitarwork and rawer vocals. They have really dark lyrics but their music is not as depressive as you expect.
KYREST are from the Nürnberg, Erlangen area, this is in the southern part of Germany called Bavaria you fool, and their music is way more crusty, more metallic than their split partners RUINS. Influences are drawn from acts like FROM ASHES RISE and ALPINIST.
