SEPULTURA – Machine Messiah 2 x LP (Gold)

It´s the thirtythird year of the bands existence and the brasilian Thrash Metal legend SEPULTURA still is the most famous Metal export of this country, with their fourteenth album called „Machine Messiah“ SEPULTURA presents a very strong Metal album to start into the new year 2017. Yes the times of raw and primitive Thrash Metal, Death Metal are long gone and the band improved a lot, they even managed to survive as band after mastermind Max Cavalera left the band. „Machine Messiah“ is less tribal or experimental as for example the album „Roots“ or „Dante XXI“ and not as devasting as their last album „The Mediator Between Head And Hand Must Be The Heart“, but it´s full of energy and without any compromise, even if the Heavy Metal influences are a little bit stronger than before the album is on a good way to become a real Thrash Metal classic. „Machine Messiah“ is not a concept album, but the lyrics are political and very critical and it´s good to see that even (financial) successful bands don´t loose their identity and political ethics. SEPULTURA still know where they come from, a mostly poor and fucked up ex-Third World country called Brasil and it´s great to see that they continue to fight for their beliefs without getting corrupted as other bigger acts.

Limited edition of 300 copies on Gold yinyl housed in a full-coloured gatefold sleeve with very nice artwork, two extra lyric inserts and two bonus songs.
