STRAIGHTJACKET NATION are a Hardcore band from Melbourne Australia formed by members of PISSCHRIST and UV RAYS. They play pure pissed Eighties US Hardcore in the vein of NEGATIVE APPROACH, GANG GREEN, THE FREEZE and JERRY´S KIDS, no groove, no mosh, just plain Fastcore. Their songs are build up in the old way: riffs thrown away, drums all over the place and manic bass lines, perfect music for a nice time in the circle pit.
