THE ACCÜSED from Seattle, USA, the self-acclaimed kings of Splatter Rock, we´re founded in the year 1981, after the split LP with REJECTORS (1983), the „Martha Splatterhead“ MLP (1985) and „The Return Of Martha Splatterhead“ LP (1986) they released their second full length album „More Fun Than An Open Casket Funeral“ (1987), the fourteen songs of this album were recorded at Michael Lord Productions Valentines Day, 1987. With this official re-issue one major problem of this fantastic release got solved: the weak production of the original version now is history, Brad Boatright, Audiosiege did a great job, all material got remastered by him and finally sounds the way it should sound. Don´t be mistaken, „More Fun Than An Open Casket Funeral“ is a great album with superb songs, but with this „new sound“ it is even better by 100 %. Even if you own the original pressing buying a copy of this new edition is a must.

The US label COMBAT did the original pressing in the year 1987.

Official, remastered re-issue pressed on Black vinyl, the album is housed in a Full Coloured gatefold sleeve and a folded Din A 4 poster should be included (can´t be fully confirmed as the album is shrink-wrapped).
