„Hell Is Here“ is the first album of the band after changing the name from CROWN OF THORNS into THE CROWN, without doubt THE CROWN is amongst the best bands of the second wave of swedish Death Metal that started in the Mid Nineties. The band creates something of their own by using elements of Old School Death Metal made in Sweden and mixing it with modern US Thrash Metal, Death Metal. THE CROWN are more melodic than their fellow swedish bands like ENTOMBED, GRAVE or UNLEASHED, but still it´s very, very brutal, without doubt their music is a blast and fits for perfectly for every kind of Extreme Metal listener.
The first pressing of this album (CD only) was done in the year 1998 by METAL BLADE RECORDS, USA, Germany, Poland and Japan.
Official re-issue limited to 300 numbered copies on Orange / Red Marbled vinyl, the album comes with original artwork, lyric, photo insert and large poster.
