TOMBS are a Doom Metal, Post Black Metal trio based in Brooklyn, New York, this act was founded in 2007 and some of you might know them from their previous releases on RELAPSE RECORDS (three full albums and one EP), their debut EP on LEVEL PLANE RECORDS and their split EP with PLANKS on BLACK BOX RECORDINGS. Their fourth full album „The Grand Annihilation“ is released on METAL BLADE RECORDS, the label has changed but the band still plays their own kind of sound: TOMBS deliver most epic, ambitious, emotionally and blackened post metallic music, a blending bleak, Post Punk minimalism fusions with the ferocious attack of Sludge and Traditional Black Metal.
