DIRGE were an female fronted Anarchist Punk band from Leiceister, UK and they were active in the Early / Mid Eighties. Like other contemporary Anarcho Punk bands from the UK they made snotty, distorted music in the vein of SACRILEGE, ANTISECT, AOA and early DISORDER but due to the fact that they never released much stuff they still are very unknown.
The LP offers some studio, live material and comes with a nice booklet including the lyrics, some info and an interview from 1984.
