SACRILEGE was a female fronted band that emerged from the UK Hardcore scene in the Mid Eighties, featuring ex-members of WARWOUND and VARUKERS, SACRILEGE took the UK Hardcore sounds of the day (DISCHARGE, VARUKERS, ICONS OF FILTH, ANTISECT) and mixed in a combination of powerful Thrash Metal and Speed Metal. The resulting mix was a high energy Metal, Hardcore hybrid which quickly stood apart many of the other bands mixing Punk and Metal at that time.
Fully authorized Demos & Live assault from legends of UK Punk, Metal SACRILEGE licensed by founding members Damian Thompson and Lynda "Tam" Simpson. Contains the first two 1984 and 1985 SACRILEGE demos alongside a remarkable unreleased live set from the eminent Ambulance Station Squat on Old Kent Road in London, UK from 1985.
