Formed from the ashes of URBAN WASTE, MAJOR CONFLICT from Queens, New York existed for a short time in the Early Eighties NYHC scene, they played 1983 Hardcore with a pretty significant early Punk Roch tinge, fused into short songs that never really get to fast. MAJOR CONFLICT helped building the NY Hardcore scene and quickly gained a reputation around their live shows, but the band´s inclination towards drugs and violence held them back from ever achieving success out of New York City. Through MAJOR CONFLICT´s career was short lived, the members went to form GUTTERBOY, who experienced success later in the decade.
