GOATWHORE are a Death Metal band from New Orleans, LA, USA, who also included Black Metal and Sludge influences in their sound. They were formed in year 1997 by guitarist, vocalist Sammy Duet following the break-up of his previous act ACID BATH, vocalist Ben Falgoust (also of SOILENT GREEN) joined the following year and the two have been the group´s only continous members. „Vengeful Ascension“ is the seventh album of the band with ten tracks of aggressive but still rocking Death Metal, Thrash Metal tracks, also some Metal Punk influences like MIDNIGHT, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, … can not really be denied.
 
Limited pressing of 300 numbered copies on Clear / Black Marbled vinyl, this album comes with coloured LP cover, DIN A1 poster, lyric insert and download card.
