It seems that bands from Leipzig, Germany like to do it the harder way, GUTS & GUNS are one of them. It´s not so easy to find the prefect words for a review, some say it´s female fronted Sludge, Doom but that´s not the whole truth. You can´t find the typical Black Metal style cover artwork, the sound is not that hyper overproduced and there is still a lot of Punk, Hardcore spirit left. In the end it is massive and crushing music inbetween mid-tempo Hardcore, emotional Crust and Sludge with strong D.I.Y. roots.
