MALATESTA – Gewalt 12″ (Test Pressing)

MALATESTA are a Punk, Crust band from Munich, Germnay that began in 2009 and changed vocalists in the year 2018. They already released the „Licht“ 7″ EP (2012), the „S/T“ cassette (2019), their debut album called „Unter Tage“ on ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA from Germany (2022) and after a break of nearly four years it´s time for a new output. Heavily inspired by Swedens and Portlands, USA dark Crust scenes of the earlier part of this century, their upcoming 12″ LP „Gewalt“ is a blistering echo from those days, fast and unrelenting this record speaks up against patriarchal violence and abusive relationships. Formed by ache and anger, MALATESTA is cutting through and fighting back. The four new songs were recorded in the Tonmeisterei Oldenburg, Germany in november 2024, four impressive songs full of power, pissed off, aggressive and ready for resistance.

This here is the approved test pressing on Black vinyl limited to 20 hand-numbered copies, the One-Sided 12″ is housed in a special double-sided B/W fold-out cover, only available with this test pressing. The ready „album“ should be out in early spring 2026, this 12″ is One-Sided.
