ORTEGA is a Sludge, Doom band from Groningen, The Netherlands and since 2007 the band has been exploring the murky depths of humanity´s longing for the horizon. Perilous courses which drag carcasses ashore, sojourns that tell of the bells that chime on the sands below, ORTEGA deliver collisions of Doom, Sludge and Noise that tell tales of abyssal mankind. NO the band is NOT making friendly family music, depressive, evil and heavy Doom, Sludge, Post Rock is the trademark of the band, sound similar to (old) NEUROSIS and YOB.
Limited edition of 300 copies on 180 gram heavy Black vinyl, this album comes in a heavy full coloured cardboard jacket and extra lyric sheet printed on heavy cardboard.
