In the year 2002, two years after „Spirit The Earth Aflame“, PRIMORDIAL released their sixth album called „Storm Before Calm“. PRIMORDIAL has it´s own stlye and it´s very hard to compare them with other bands of this genre, PRIMORDIAL plays melancholic, dark Black Metal mixed with celtic based Pagan Metal, few hectical and fast Black Metal outbreaks belong to the PRIMORDIAL sound as well as atmospheric, heavy Doom parts. „Storm Before Calm“ in its entirety is epic, yes nearly majestic, it´s hard to favor a single song, the whole album is complex, full of emotions and atmosphere, perfectly captured by the outstanding songwriting of the band members. The world needs way more of this sound, I´m shure a lot of folks, Metal fan or no,t will love this album. 

The first pressing of this LP was done in the year 2002 on HAMMERHEART RECORDS from The Netherlands.

Official re-issue: limited edition of 200 hand-numbered copies on Wine – Red / Black Marbled vinyl, all songs got remastered for vinyl and a double-sided poster is included too.
