WAKE from Calgary, Alberta, Canada orginally played Grindcore in the vein of FUCK THE FACTS, ROTTEN SOUND, … but within time the changed their style into progressive Death Metal, Black Metal with a more or less touch of Grindcore. „Thought Form Decent“, album number six for this canadian band, recorded in later 2021, reminds a little bit of ANAAL NATHRAKH but with less blast-speed sound and without the clean vocal parts of the british band, the dual vocals, high screamed voice and deep growls, are the „only“ thing that has survived from the bands raw Grindcore origins.
